These adjustable focus, handheld 10X Magnifiers can be used for viewing fingerprint record cards or in the UV mode for examining latent prints developed using fluorescent fingerprint powders. The unique design provides the user with white, UV-365 nm, UV-313 nm, UV-254 nm, retro reflective, and IR light 980 nm (Anti-Stokes) light sources via an on/off push button and an UV mode switch located on the side of the magnifier housing.

The compact Regula MAG-UV19 and MAG-UV19.1 General Purpose Magnifiers include an optically ground and polished glass lens, which provides a 21 mm distortion-free view field. They have good central and side sharpness, brightness, and contrast. The power source for the lights is provided by two AAA batteries which come with the magnifier and provide hours of use.

The Regula MAG-UV19.1 General Purpose Magnifier additionally includes a built-in measuring scale (step 0.1 mm) located on the bottom of viewing area. This scale aids in comparing sizes of objects and controlling width of lines.
